Our family, Enne and Hannah, son Douwe and his wife Annelies immigrated from the Netherlands and established the farm in December 2016. 

In the Netherlands we were the 5th generation on the Bakkers farm. Gulleyfarms in Horton township near Renfrew has been farmed from 1912. Tinswood Eady was the first owner. From the sixties the farm was owned by the Dutch family VanderPloeg.

We are very grateful and proud to be able to live here and work the land and care for the animals. To take part in producing food is what our family has done for ages and what we love to do. 

Son Jelmer Bakker is working with us on the sidelines, next to his dealership of Sveaverken providing Eastern Canada with GPS systems for tractors, feedpushers and robotic lawn mowers. More information at www.agsmartsolutions.ca
